Principal's Welcome

The Cathedral College is a Catholic Co-educational Secondary College in Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia. The College Mission Statement invites students to “Come, live life in all its fullness” and we seek to help students develop their spiritual, academic, sporting and cultural dimensions in the time they spend with us.

At The Cathedral College we have boarding accommodation for boys and girls. We have 940 students at the College. Of these 156 are boarders at our two boutique boarding Residences.

Although the College is relatively young, it draws a rich heritage from its predecessor schools The Range Convent High School (conducted by the Sisters of Mercy) and St Joseph’s Christian Brothers’ College. The College has an enviable reputation for providing an education which results in graduates who are well rounded young people.

Academic excellence is sought and achieved, yet there is a broad education provided so that all who seek our values find a suitable pathway to attaining their goals.  We have high expectations of our students in their relationships with one another and staff. Respect and good manners are cornerstones of these standards. Students are expected to take pride in wearing their uniform well and have an appearance which is neat and tidy.

I invite you to further explore our College through this website or by contacting us.
