Year 11 student Reagen McKenzie was awarded 2022 Queensland Minerals and Energy Academy (QMEA) Student Ambassador at a recent ceremony in Brisbane.
Reagen is one of 20 students from across Queensland selected after a lengthy application process. Reagen is pictured with Queensland Minister for Employment Di Farmer and Year 11 & 12 Coordinator Monil Beotra. As part of this role, Reagen will be invited to participate in a number of QMEA activities across a twelve-month period that will increase an understanding of the resources sector, develop leadership skills and provide opportunities for networking with students and industry representatives. Reagen continues the TCC tradition and is the third TCC student in recent years selected as a state ambassador. MCeeing the event was Year 12 student and 2021 QMEA Student Ambassador, Chloe Coombe.
