The TCC Mission Statement states that part of the Mission of the College is: ‘To create an environment of outreach, particularly to the marginalised, through just and peaceful actions.’  One way to do this is to provide an avenue whereby students and families in need of financial support are able to access that support.

The TCC Foundation is an attempt to address the needs of those in our community who at various times need financial assistance for a range of school-related needs other than school fees.

Goals of the Foundation:

The Foundation will:

Support students and their families in times of need
Enable students to participate as fully as possible in the life of the College and “provide opportunities for the growth of the whole person – spiritually, academically, personally, socially, culturally and physically” (College Mission Statement).

The Foundation will not:

Assist families with College fees as these are supported by other methods.

Procedure to obtain support:

A need is identified by a student, staff member, parent, caregiver or outside agency. An application form can be submitted or contact made with the College to outline the need for support and the amount of support required, as well as what the support is for.

Once a need is identified a committee will review the request and decide on support to be given.  The committee consists of the Deputy Principal, a parent and another staff member from the College.
