The Spirit is Alive.png

The Cathedral College is extremely proud to host the CQUniversity Confraternity Rugby League Carnival (Confro) in 2025, bringing one of Queensland's most prestigious school rugby league events to Rockhampton. â€‹

Since it's inception in 1981, Confro has grown from a small competition among six Catholic schools to Australia's largest independent schoolboy's and schoolgirls' rugby league carnival. With over 70 teams and more than 1,500 student athletes competing, the five day event is a true celebration of sport, teamwork and community spirit.

In 2025, the spirit is alive and we can't wait to welcome teams, families, and supporters to Rockhampton in July. Get ready for an unforgettable week of competition, camaraderie and celebration!
