Middle Hall, at The Range was filled with a warm, golden glow as Boarders, their families, staff and guests gathered to celebrate the journey of our Year 12 Boarding students. The air buzzed with a mix of excitement and nostalgia, as everyone prepared to honour the seniors who had made this place their home-away-from-home.
As the Seniors arrived, they were greeted by a touching Guard of Honour. Guests lined the driveway, clapping and cheering, creating a path of love and support for the students. It was their last gathering with their close-knit Boarding family and the significance of the moment was felt by all.
Bishop Michael led a special Liturgy, offering prayerful guidance to the Seniors. His words were a gentle reminder that as they moved into the next phase of their lives, God’s presence would always be with them, as long as they remained open to it. The students listened intently, with a mix of hope and reflection.
A special part of the evening was the Final Role Call. With tears glistening, Mrs Armstrong and Ms Kelly, called out the names of the graduating Girls and Boys Boarding residents. One by one, the students lined the stage, standing together for the very last time.
In the end, the Year 12 Boarding students left with a heart full of cherished memories, knowing that no matter where life takes them, they will always carry a piece of their Boarding family with them, forever bound by the experiences and friendships forged in their home-away-from-home.
