These school holidays four excited Year 11 and 12 TCC students will immerse themselves in uni life after being accepted into the JCU Engineering Futures Program.
Oscar, Harry, Mitchell and Moses will head to JCU Townsville’s Bebegu Yumba campus for a 5-day STEM-focused stay for the second week of the winter school holidays. Here they will experience first-hand the life of a university student by living on-campus and creating group projects with other like-minded students.
The boys will attend interactive lectures and learn through hands-on activities, as well as meet current JCU students, university staff and other participating secondary students as they explore more about the career opportunities ahead of them.
After completing the program and upon graduating Year 12, these students will also gain direct entry into the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at JCU.
