Last Friday evening, our Performing Arts Building came alive with the vibrant sounds of student performances, marking its christening with an atmosphere of relaxed elegance and musical excellence.
Lit up against the skyline, the spotlight shone on our talented young performers as they showcased their developing musicianship across jazz, classical, and contemporary genres.
From heartfelt solos to dynamic duets and intimate small group ensembles, students from all year levels captivated the audience with their artistry and passion.
We were honoured to welcome Rockhampton’s renowned musicians, Mrs Mary Steer and Mr Isaac Graham who not only attended but also accompanied some of our students, adding a professional flourish to an already memorable evening.
A heartfelt thank you to all our performers for delivering such a fantastic evening of entertainment.
This event was a beautiful prelude to the upcoming Queensland Catholic Schools and Colleges Music Festival, and a proud celebration of the talent nurtured within our community.
