Recently we farewelled our Year 12 Boaders in a moving Liturgy and Ceremony. Beautifully dressed, with broad smiles brimming with just a hint of tears, our Senior Boarders emerged from Boys Boarders and walked the journey across the oval through the guard of honour embraced in hugs and handshakes from younger ‘siblings’ who will forever remember their kindness and friendship.
Parents, families, boarding staff and teachers nearby applauded their arrival with a great sense of collective pride. This is an incredible partnership that together has helped fashion and form compassionate young men and women ready to step out into the world and live great lives.
The Performing Arts Building was lovingly decorated and prepared by our Boarding Supervisors creating an atmosphere befitting this very special occasion.
Welcomed by Mr Busby, Assistant Principal Boarding our Boarders led the Liturgy that included moving reflections by leaders Erin, Jake and Maxi followed by a presentation.
Many thanks to our special guests Bishop Michael, and Mr McCusker, Diocesan Director Catholic Education and Sr Joanne Molloy, a most loyal and devoted supporter of our Boarders.
We’re grateful to the wonderful contribution our 2025 Senior Boarders have made to the life of our College enriching it with the special flavour that only Boarders can give. They will be immensely missed.
