Highly Accomplished Teacher

The College is delighted to share the news that Science and Religion teacher Alice Galea has been recognised as a Highly Accomplished Teacher, under the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers, officiated through the Queensland College of Teachers.

Highly Accomplished teachers are recognised as highly effective, skilled classroom practitioners and routinely work independently and collaboratively to improve their own practice and the practice of colleagues.

This voluntary in depth process of certification is an outstanding achievement and a testament to Miss Galea’s dedication to excellence in teaching, her ongoing commitment to enriching her students’ learning experiences, inspiring a love of learning and fostering a Christ-centred community where every student can thrive.
