Today, our incredible Year 12 students showed us what true courage, compassion, and community spirit look like. In a powerful act of solidarity and generosity, they took part in Rock the Chop, raising an astonishing $38,542 for the Cancer Council - a parting gift to the community as their school days come to a close.
We are beyond proud not just of the amount raised, but of the heart behind every single chop. These young people stood tall, gave selflessly, and reminded us all of the impact we can have when we come together for a cause bigger than ourselves.
It was an honour to have Lisa from the Cancer Council join us and share that our students’ efforts helped push their fundraising total over the $1 million goal. What an incredible legacy to be part of.
They all look absolutely amazing with their new haircuts but even more beautiful is the message they’ve sent: that kindness, bravery, and action can change lives.
To our Year 12s — thank you. You’ve made your school, your families, and your community so proud. To our whole College community and beyond who donated and supported our young people, your astonishing generosity has helped make this moment truly something special.
